I am trying to get a lease extention on my property from 62 to 99 years. The property has been valued at 190,000
with a 99 year lease. I am looking for an estimate as to what I should expect to pay the lease holder for the extention.
When I sold my flat, I had to extend the lease. I was offered 999 yrs and paid 6500. We all owned 10% share of the leasehold anyway.
Is your management co. only offering to re lease to 99 yrs?
They should be the ones letting you know how much it's going to be as they're selling it.
It didn't change the ground rent btw. That was peppercorn.
Look at the website for the leasehold advisory association and contact them. In most cases lease extensions are negotiated in accordance with specific legislation.
