iTunes filling up my hard drive
3 Answers
My 40GB hard drive on my PC is about 99% full and I'm being told to delete files. Looking at my iTunes it looks like this is taking up about 95% of the total space on my hard drive. Would buying an external hard drive and using this to store my iTunes on resolve the problem with lack of space and if I do buy an external hard drive and move my iTunes onto it, how do I do that? Is it easy to do?
Thanks.
Thanks.

Otherwise, yes an external drive is exactly what you want. Just move your files across to the other drive then tell iTunes to look on that drive for your music (you change the folder in iTunes preferences->advanced).
