Saliva swapping

I remember being told at school that when snogging someone their saliva stays in your mouth for 3 months and somebody mentioned it the other day. This cant be true can it?

I've actually been informed that it can stay in your mouth for anywhere up to 6 months. Happy Snogging ;-P

Probably the bacteria rather than the saliva.

I heard that the dental health boffins were working on a strain of bacteria that is good for teeth hygiene.

Once introduced into the mouth it would colonize it for life.

I do some first aid teaching and we are taught that the human bite is the dirtiest (if it breaks the skin) Yuck. You still like snogging starry
