crofter, no. i got wise and fled as soon as practicable. that was a long time ago. i'm a brit now. and happy about it.

Crofter.. clue was " In the NZ Maori language, an expression of greeting".

I found 42a on 'one across'. It tends to have the more unusual entries on it.
