New Quizzes Available

Afternoon all ... Long time no see ! Computer crashed about three weeks ago .... it's a long story !!!!
Two new ones for you all, both available from myself

The Tree Quiz for Cransley Hospice ... mixed clues and I promise no pictures ! �1 + sae ... if cheque, payable to
L. Wright

Samaritans Quiz ... GK with overlapping answers. �1 + sae ... If cheque, payable to Kettering Samaritans

Both quizzes are one sheet of A4 so will both fit in envelope without worrying about size and weight. If you would like both, seperate cheques needed but one sae will be ok.

PS ... I have been off line for what seems like ages so appologises in advance if I have not answered your requests in the last three weeks. Also lost masses of e-mails so if anyone mailed me , sorry, I did not receive.

Evening Magyar ... thought I may have missed you ... what a nightmare. New computer ok but I am waiting to go on broadband. Stupidly bought a computer without a modem so I am still using dial up from my old modem, didn't know we could do that hence being off line for eons !!! I just wish companies would not assume that everyone is a wizz on these things. Oh to be under twenty again where computers are concerned !!!!
Did you get the pictures in the end. I had to send mine off with some very wild guesses. What did you put for the one that looked like Roger Witticker ?? Think I plumped for Anne Widdecome in the end.
Been nursing another chest infection, third one this winter ! so feeling very sorry for myself. Perked up on Friday when the post arrived ... What happened When quiz ... my name was pulled from the hat and they sent me a cheque for ............ �50 ... can you believe it. I've never had such a big win. Certainly cheered me up a bit.

Hi again. Sorry I didn't get back to you earlier but just got in form the pub quiz league.

I think I put Roger Whittaker for the one that looked like Roger Whittaker, even though I know it's not right. I hate leaving blanks!! I think there was another one that was definitely wrong, but fairly confident on the others (I hope !!).

I'm still on dial-up too. I've heard too many stories about problems with people changing to broadband that I haven't plucked up enough courage to change yet, although I know I will eventually. People look on me as a computer wizz-kid at work, but I now I'm not.

Sorry to hear that you haven't been well, but I know what you mean when you say that you perked up after your win, Doesn't matter how big or small, it always puts a smile on my face, although it seems like years since I actually won one of these charity quizzes. I know they say that 'it's not the winning but the taking part', but that's all a load of tosh, lol

I'd better get some shut-eye now, or I'll not be up for work tomorrow. Hope to speak to you soon, and good luck in the Settle quiz, even with your guesses.

Nice to hear from you again earthakitten. Congratulations on your win, I came second and was chuffed to bits when I opened the post - like you it's the biggest win I've had.

Is the Samaritans quiz the follow on one from Homes and Gardens? If so, I think I requested it with the answers. I'll wait a few days to check and then I'll send off for the "Trees".

Hi earthakitten, sorry to bother you but I've had the post today and my Homes & Garden quiz has been returned, but there was no new quiz in with it. I'd sellotaped a �1 coin to the sheet which has been removed.
I'll be sending for a copy of theTree quiz - would it be possible to send a Samaritans one at the same time?
