Why on earth would you people in the pub want to know how many Geriatric Patients there are in the UK? Sooner or later the number is going to get more or less!

It's General Practitioners I'm trying to find out. My mate's brother had a job interview (something to do with statistics) and that was one of the questions. Essentially a very bizarre maths problem. My mate 'worked it out' to be approx 28,000 but as his brother wasn't actually given the answer we have no idea if either of them are right. I've googled it but couldn't find it so thought the mighty ABers might have the answer!

Thanks for that, I can now go rub it in that my mate's guestimate of 28000 (which he is ADAMANT is correct) was woefully short of the mark.
