my son is going to majorca for 2weeks in may,his passport runs out in september,his been told his got to have 6months left on it on return to uk, does anyone know whether this is true? thanks

However the Spanish Embassy on their website state that for British travellers the passport should be valid for 90 days after the date of your return.
Check with the company your son has booked with as some travel operators stipulate the six month rule as a condition for travel
