Missing Gasman,

Any one know where the gasman as gone ,hope his not blew his self up.

Him and the milk-man, and bread-man, and green-grocer, and rag-and-bone man is all sitting around the coke-brazier outside yon gasworks 'aving a cuppa an munching on bread and dripping sammies thinking 'bout old days!

Can you still get dipping , i mean the real stuff.

We're probably going to be banished to "Food & Drink" soon. I don't think that you buy "dripping": you just save all your bacon grease and other liquid fatty leftovers in a container and keep it in the fridge.
