i need help or advice please

I am already seeing my gp, am on anti-depressants and havecounselling for depression but i am feeling very hopeless and suicidal.
The thing is i always say to my doctor or counsellor i wont do anything but then have times when i think why should i go on whatever effort i make with life it wont go the way i want it too. I feel guilty about so much and fearful of situations and people. all i do in the world feels wrong and i find it very hard to understand the point of me existing and how i will ever change.

Have you been taking the a/ds long enough for them to be working? Or so long they are no longer effective and you need a change?
This may not be the best advice, but give yourself a week off from expecting to feel better. Accept that this is you for the time being and allow yourself to be this way without feeling guilty or kicking yourself.
In a week, make appointments to see your GP and your counsellor. And be honest.

the thing is that i am very scared especially in the case of my gp that he will impose some sort of restriction on me due to his fears about my saftey. Can he do this? the problem being that i need to work etc and have just been promoted so have to transfer to another site in a few weeks so new people and very big challange etc. But i am not coping with life at the moment and cant see how i will be able to cope with it in the coming weeks. i am just at a loss.

You must look at the positives.
You are doing VERY well in your work - promotion is never given willy nilly, so your employer must be impressed with you in the workplace.
Fear of change is NATURAL. We all suffer from it in varying degrees. It is human nature to feel most comfortable with familiarity and routine.
You have a few weeks to prepare. Travel to the new work place in your own time so you are familiar with the route and the parking or bus stops. Do this a few times if necessary.
See if it is possible for you to spend a couple of hours at the new place before you actually start there - so you know your way round the building, can meet your new colleagues and take away some of the fear.
Decide on your image - we all have one. Being confident about the clothes you wear and the way you look will help enormously.
Do as many of these 'little' steps as you can before you start the new job, then it will not be such a huge leap in to the void.
And congratulations on the promotion! To achieve that whilst suffering anxiety and depression is a triumph. Well done.

I went on friday just gone to meet the manager of the store and he seems like a really nice chap. I have always had problems with confidence and doing big things but suppose i made it through uni and ended up doing well.
i just feel like i am never going to get anywhere. i text my girlfriend earlier and just had diner so she said she will call me. which is a first as i normally call her. she lives far away from me so i only see her every other weekend but now i have every other weekend off she will be able to come and stay at mine. i still live with my parents due to it being hard to have enough money to move out, i hope to be better finantialy if i get on ok with my manager's job. at least if she is able to come down here then it saves me getting tired from the journey.

So there are plenty of good things in your life - you have a family, a girlfriend, a university degree and now promotion.
Don't be frightened of talking to your GP - the likelihood of your being sectioned is minimal. That is only ever a last resort for your own protection or the protection of others.
You would be far to ill to be having a rational discussion here!
In the meantime - the usual applies. Eat regularly and sensibly, try to be active for part of the day and get a proper sleep pattern if you can. But you know all this.

If you are also suffering with some anxiety there is a great book called "Self help for your nerves" by Dr Claire Weekes. She makes you re - evaluate how to deal with issues such as circling thoughts and helps with strategies to deal with them. Please don't give up. Do you have family to talk to?
