I think its a mixture of both. I read the Daily Mail and there are many things in there that I and other people agree with, but there are also things that appear that sometimes influence my opinion. For example, quite often the Mail write articles which disagree with the way the Labour government is running the country - I usually agree with what has been written. However, a few years ago I would have supported Labour, since I have read this paper I have become more inclined to follow the Tories as The Mail more often than not agree with their planned policies if they were in government
