I'm sure I heard a track by 'The Band' once called "Warming Up The Band". I've looked for years to find it but never even seen a song with the same title! Did I dream it or does it go under a different title?

http://theband.hiof.no/ is a fantastic resource on The band - one of the best music sites I've found - and I can't find any mention of this track there. Maybe you hear a bootleg or live recording -- perhaps someone mis-naming Chest Fever, or another instrumental?

I think you are confusing the song with that of "Warming Up the Band" by a group called Head,Hands &Feet on Island Records around 1972.
