Drink loads of water: it assists fibre to lower your body's cholesterol.
Watch out for saturated fats in cream, butter and cheese, take gentle regular exercise, and don't eat too much cholesterol-laden food such as eggs, seafood and offal.

Also I'd like to emphasize oats, which are so good at lowering cholesterol, that doctors prescribing cholesterol-reducing drugs have to sometimes adjust their prescriptions.
- There are GOOD cholesterols too.
- Even mild exercise can lower your cholesterol.
- You may not wish to, but should know that colesterol-reducing drugs are some of the most successful drugs known.
- Please take your cholesterol more seriously than just as 'doctor advises'.
High cholesterol can be very dangerous, and is relatively simple to manage if you are careful.
