Diets and pregnancy
I was taking the combined contraceptive pill for a total of 11 years when my partner and I decided to try for a baby. I stopped taking the pill in August 2006 and my doctor warned me that it would take a while for my body to return back to normal. I had my first normal period which started on Feb 28th and lasted for 7 days. Since I have stopped taking the pill my weight has ballooned and I now weigh 13st, which I know is overweight. I eat sensibly but I am struggling to shift the weight. Are there any diets that are safe to do while trying to conceive?
