Don't think so.
Believe all the churches have slightly different criteria so why don't you ask the vicar at the one you choose?

Ask the vicar moomin.
We went to see one vicar who was sooooo rude she made me cry. She demanded we both were christened (which we were) and should have been confirmned and all the god parents should have been christened and she wanted meetings with everyone before hand to make sure they were suitable. She led me to believe that if she did not find them suitable she could refuse to let them be god parents. I went home in tears and had to stop mr W from planting her one.

BUT
We had friends in another parish and bf was not christened and the vicar did the bf first and then baby all in the same service. We found another vicar in another parish who was wonderful to do ours. so have a meeting with the vicar and see. Dont be bullied just try another vicar. Mr W still says I should have let him plant her.
Why not just have a naming ceremony - I went to one for the Son of a friend of mine at the local registry office - no religion involved but the most beautiful ceremony I think I've ever seen.
