I have a problem with pop up adverts whilst browsing. I am on AOL and use their browser. Every 10 mins or so I get a Internet Explorer pop up for 888casino or lucky.com or something similar. I have tried running the AOL anti spyware on my system AND NOD32 AND Ewido, but nothing seems to get rid. God damn things really annoying me now. Oh and in the top left corner of browser pop up window CiD is written... don't know if that is relevant. It may have something to do with CELLDORADO.com because that feature quite a lot too. Anybody any ideas?

get spybot - search and distroy . off the net
http://www.spybot.info

also get a good firewall and antivirus soft ware AOL gives you discount on McAfee security center.
The anti virus software is a must and using spybot will clear this problem how ever going forward if you are using Microsoft Explorer it has a PopUp Blocking utulity (on the tools menu). A quick tip is if you want to keep the popup blocker on but are going to a website where you need to see the popup hold the control key down before you click the link or go on the address bar and it will override the blocker. Hope this helps. SID
