Battery replacment

Hi I would like to replace the battery on my 2002 Dodge Intrepid SE. Will someone tell me the location of the battery and the steps needed to gain access to it. I am mechanical so I can follow the instructions given to me

ignore last reply, guess your mechanically minded and 'not' a mechanic. Have you got an owners manual?? if so does it say in there where the battery is situated

If you can't find it, some cars have it under the rear seats?

I'm 79 years old and crippled, I used to be a machanic in a different field and understand terminology when it's explained to me. I didn't think I would have to go into my personal life to get help, but there it is. This job may take me all day, but I know I can do it with proper instructions. I bought the car used and it has the orininal battery in it. The car did not have the owners manual with it. Thanks.

Your Dodge dealer will sell you another handbook or just ring them they will tell you where it is.
