Black Screen

Everytime i go on line my monitor seems to go off, its as if you have turned it off because the power light goes to red, my computer is still running though. Any answers? could it be the VGA?

is this when you have booted up or when you go on line to the Internet? If it is on boot up does the screen go blank after you logon? let me know and i might be able to help. SID

go to control panel power options and turn off monitor as never turn off hard disks as never and standby as never from the drop down option and in control panel internet options conections click never dial a connection that will stop your problem it did me
