I can't stand Oasis. Possibly more than I hate Simon Cowell.
They have one bland unoriginal song which fell out of the sixties and all they do is keep rehashing it.
Anyone who thinks they're original is kidding only themselves.

I wouldn't mind so much if their musical output varied. But it doesn't. At all. I remember the media created Blur vs Oasis battle for the number one spot and not caring - Country House was fun but silly and the Oasis track boring. But looking back over the years Blur have proven themselves to be far more capable and talented musicians than the Gallagher brothers could ever hope to be.

I wouldn't go as far as the questioner, but I certainly think they're overrated, especially that tuneless dirge Wonderwall. I like some of their stuff though (usually the ones Noel sings, strangely enough).

It's a bit unfair to say they only rip off The Beatles. They've also ripped off T Rex, The Kinks and The New Seekers. ;-)
