No problem with the fountain pen, Auquagility; it's material. I'm quite proud of my two Pelikan fountain pens from FT crosswords. And most of my children's friends go to University with a dictionary or thesaurus won in crosswords, though no wins for 3 or 4 years now. But I feel guilty at doing the things for the pleasure, so won't allow myself to attempt them unless there is the prospect of a prize. As I said, it's sick...
