A geneticist, on the other hand, is a scientist and Chambers Dictionary defines genetics as..."the branch of biology dealing with heredity..." So what do you think is the correct answer, Alijangra?
And no, I don't like picking faults in others' answers but - when they provide obviously wrong ones - I think it only right to correct them for the questioner's benefit!
Brachiopod suggested individual scientists' names, but I agree with him/her that this looks like a quiz/crossword type of question...ie that a generic term is required.
