business rates?

this is more of a rant than a question , but i feel as though i am being robbed by extortionate charges for my business rates?? i dont get anything for them, they dont even empty my bin??

am i on my own but i feel as though the �200 per month is a lot of money down the drain

i nearly brought a new unit last year but i found out the rates were nearly �4000 per annum?? FFS!!!

I'm paying �335.00 a month...i get my bin emptied every month, the bin men even knock the door but i pay another �136.00 a quarter for that privalige...move abroad, lots' of my customers have done it and i might do it with the way this country is going.

We pay �180 per month and dont get bins emptied either.!

However, my �180 is half of what is should be (�400) because we get small business rate relief. Are you benefitting from this?

I pay �500 per month, no bin emptied AND the police do not even bother to turn up when we are victims of �10k theft.
God forbid we ever have a fire.
