How do I save a web page (such as the one you are looking at now) for future reference, or to send to someone else via email. I have tried the usual, ie right click, save as, place to save, eg desktop, format etc, but all I seem to get is a reference to open another link page. Any help will be appreciated. Thanks.
If using internet explorer, you can click on 'Favourites' at the very top of the page (next to the File, Edit, View buttons) then click 'add to favourites' and then 'ok'. To then access this later, click on Favourites again and then you will see your saved page in the drop down menu.
Or another way would be to copy the web page address, paste it into a word document, and then just save it there.
The instructions I gave above do work, and save everything in one single file with an MHT extension (so it is easier to e-mail to someone).
You can change the option from "Web archive sinlge file" to "Webpage complete" and this saves it as individial files.
More dificult to mail to someone, but easier to see what the web page is made up off.
Note I tried BOTH examples above with Answerbank web site and in both cases I got a reasonable display of the web page, but some things were missing like adverts and so on.
