Building Regulations for Cafes/ Retaraunts Etc.
Is a Cafe or Restaraunt bound by law to have Toilets for the use of the general Public installed on their premises before they are allowed to open for Business . Thanking You all in anticipation of an answer. Cheers, ALLIGATOR.

(You only need to head for the tourist areas of Central London to find hundreds of small caf�s which operate, perfectly legally, with no such provision).
Local authorities now usually require all new premises serving food to provide customer toilets but existing food outlets are not required to install them.
As far as providing toilets for the general public, rather than just customers, is concerned, nobody is required to provide these. (Even local authorities are under no obligation to provide public toilets).
