Wilful / unnecessary obstruction is a possibility - but usually applies to obstruction of the highway, not a private parking space. If you were parked on the highway to block this vehicle in, then you could be liable for a charge of obstruction, but that doesn't seem to be the case.
Another possible is false imprisonment - but this would only apply if you stopped a person moving freely, not his or her vehicle.
I would advise you to speak to the driver in the first instance and ask him not to park in your space again . If this is not possible, leave a note on his windscreen.
Put a sign in your space - private parking, any vehicles parked in this space may find themselves blocked in. Or something like.
But if if has been going on for sometime and you feel you need to do something short and sharp - block them in.

I think blocking them in would antagonise the situation though I do sympathise. If someone blocked me in - I'd feel like towing their vehicle out of the way - it would infuriate the situation.
I think yoiu can buy traffic cones and or a fold down lockable post with a clear sign on it saying privcate parking etc woiuld stop them immediately. However - they would probably park in the next bay passing on the problem. You should maybe get together with the other people who have spaces and invest in some posts and locks.

you can block them in but as many people have already said, you will open yourself up for trouble (your car being damaged, a fight starting etc).
Just put a sign on the window and tell them to kindly stiop using private residnetial spaces as they will be clamped by the private frim that checks the spaces for rogue parkers.
this usually works. If not, then get a sawn off and thereaten them with it. that definately works!
