Why on earth did they allow Girls Aloud anywhere near such a classic hip-hop track.

And is it me or are they incapable of covering a song without first removing any emotional subtext.

no, it's not just you - and i think it applies to most of these 'manufactured' groups, male or female - and why do they have to keep covering old songs anyway?

oh yeah, i remember now - because they don't know how to be original!!
i'm still trying to re-cover from being subjected to it this morning, ithink i may be traumatised for life
Classic hi[[ hop track???? its a rock track......AEROSMITH!!!!!!
jesus, the idea is to sell as many records as possible thus raising money.

Girls aloud are top, leave em alone.

For the record i reckon its hip hop/rock.
girls aloud and all the others like them are beautiful women, i've got nothing against them being models or whatever.

i'm just not sure why they think they're singers or musicians.

>:-( fed up of 'sexy' videos selling gazillions of cds/downloads/ringtones etc, regardless of whether the music's any good or not. [ rant over ]

I was thinking of the Aerosmith/Run DMC crossover version rather than the toys in the attic version.

music is for everyone young and old, Girls Aloud are there for the youngsters, they dont have to be good singers just have catchy songs that you can sing into a hair brush!

What about the Sugababes' involvement...surely Keisha from the Sugababes has a beautiful jazzy R&B voice?
