Unfortunately my L plate VW Golf 1.4 Ryder has just been written off. The other driver has accepted liability. Has anyone idea what the insurance settlement figure will likely to be approx.

Do some homework and check local listings for the prices of cars of same spec, age, mileage and service history. check out the parkers price guides too.

Insurers will often offer a low value but you can ask them to review their first offer if you can prove that the car would be worth more.
