Name of a film

I'm trying desparately to remember the name of a film that was released some four or more years ago. I think:

- it was a British film
- set in the early 50s
- about two families, one Jewish who'd moved to England as refugees fleeing from the Nazis. The other was West Indian/Carribean who'd moved to England
- the Jewish family had a young son who was a great cricket fan and who made friends with the young West INdian girl next door
- the plot revolved around the two families and their relationship with each other, the surrounding community and their shared experiences of bigotry and prejudice, against a background of cricket playing

It was a great film and I'd love to buy the DVD - if only I could remember its name!
