I already have an Ipod Nano and I have just brought my Boyfriend one, we only have one computer. I am completely rubbish when it comes to technical issues! I have read the leaflets online that apple provides and I am totally confused with what to do and how it works! If we both share itunes but say have one library for me and one library for my boyfriend how do the new tunes get transferred onto our ipod respectively? How does the Ipod know what library relates to what ipod and how does the music get into the ipod from itunes if it doesn't automatically sync? I'm so confused!

I think that if you have two accounts on the same computer, the ipod (whoever it belongs to) will synchronise to whichever account you are logged into.

Alternatively, (and I am not certain about this) I think you can set iTunes to synchronise from a Playlist rather than your whole library.
You may try Tansee iPod transfer, it can help you transfer music to ipod. Here is a guide about it, hope it helps.
