Patrick Mercer
What do you think about the comments that he made regarding black soldiers? Do you think the media has sensationalised what he said and quoted him out of context, or do you think there's no excuse for his comments and David Cameron was right to take the action he did?

Leads like that, together with gains in local council elections do not always result in election wins which are two years away.
Personally I think that Labour will be returned with a greatly reduced majority, so small that they will have to rely on the Lib Dems for major votes.
It will be messy for a long time.

SP1814, first of all i have been called a lot worse than ignorant in my life as i am certain that you have. But i fail to see the ignorance in my post. For example if a police officer pulls over a black motorist,i would without doubt say that 7 out of 10 would play the race card,if a white man went to the council with a legitimate complaint against black neighbours, the blacks would play the race card.It happens all the time, every single day,its a fact not ignorance.
And some white people are reluctant now to mention anything regarding blacks for fear of losing their jobs,as in the case of Patrick Mercer,a fact once again not ignorance.
