You are not alone - he has always scared me too. My nan told me scary stories about TV characters when I was little and as well as him I was also scared of the Moomins, Wombles (she said the people on Wimbledon Common were giants) and Fungus the Bogie Man.

She's gone now but I miss her telling me all the scary stories.

I am still scared of the moomins and have to check my wardrobe for bogie men at age 27 - she's probably watching me and having a little chuckle about it!
