hi,we own a 1972 bay window vw,and were in the process of having it done up.We are very keen to find out a little more about the old bus i.e ours has 2 fold away chairs behind the driver and passenger seats we think this is unusual can any one enlighten us,also we dont seem to be able to find any web sites to get vw info from.any help would be great ,cheers

I have worked on many VW campers over the years and haven't seen one with fold away seats.There's bound to be a VW owners club somewhere near to you--join and meet other nutters ! Good luck and enjoy ( we ran ours for 16 years !)
