Schools get right to ban veils
Schools will be able to ban pupils from wearing full face veils under new uniform guidance. It is thought that veils make communication between pupil and teacher difficult. The new guidelines will mean that religious dress can be banned from the classroom if a teacher feels it is getting in the way of a pupil's learning. Do full face veils hinder communication between pupil and teacher? What do you think?
