Drinks for a wedding
16 Answers
Can anyone help? We are getting married in June and are inviting approx 100-110 people. We are planning on having pimms as the first drink then champagne for the toasts then lager, wine and ale. The service is at 4pm just to give you an idea of how long the 'do' will be. Does anyone have any idea's of quantity we would need? There are less than 10 children going and nearly everyone will be drinking not driving!
Thanks in advance.

Not everyone will drink that im much just going of me and the people i drink with.
And with it being free people will drink more.
One thing too watch out for is people not drinking the drink they have and getting another,
At the end you would have loads of half empty drinks this has happened at partys ive been too.
There was at least 100 bottles half drunk all wasted

Thanks Mr K. Good point, I think at least to begin with we are keeping the alcohol away from people it will just be brought out as and when. Later on I guess it will become a free for all!
Would you say that 20 champagne (enough for toasts), 3-4 litres of pimms, 40 red wine, 40 white, 36 rose, 200 pints lager and about 20-30 pints ale and same amount of cider would do the job? Oh and of course lots of soft drinks!!
