labernum problem

i have a labernum plant(not sure of spelling)In my front garden which for the last 5 years i have been trying to kill/dig up.i am very allergic to it and only have to go close to it and i get hives and have to take anti-histermine.we have tried digging most of the root out and spraying it with systemic killer,only to find each time that the plant has spead and is now growing in other places in the garden.please help!!

There is aproduct called rootout but you need to pour it on the leaf growth so allow some gren growth and then apply.I have in th past used caustic soda to kill unwanted trees.When you use this expose as much of the root as possible then pour the mix directly on the root you may need to do this a few times but believe me it will kill it. As for the runners coming of you tre pull them up slighty yhen with your secateurs cut them of from the main root system. or you can just leave and when the main tree dies it will kill them as well you can get caustic soda from places like wilko you will need to persivere and do it more than onc but caustic soda is quite cheap hope this helps Paul
