Coffee Grinder and maker-which brand to buy

I want to buy an all in one coffee maker, a `bean to cup' machine so I can have fresh coffee when I want it but the choice is so great! Its just for one person really so a huge industrial one is over the top, I know its going to cost upto 500 quid but thats ok for really, really fresh coffee

This seems to be one of the best around, you won't get many smaller that grinds the beans, and makes a delicious cup of coffee.

Wouldn't it be cheaper to pop into a coffee shop? �500 seems a lot of money for coffee!!

erm, I live in a village in Oxfordshire not central London (thank god) so the nearest coffee shop is 11 miles away, hardly a `nip'. Plus we have a shop locally that sells coffee beans ground or whole and I want to support them. Imagine me in my dressing gown at 8am in a coffee shop and I think you will see why I need one in the kitchen!!

Yes, I quite see your point, it just seems so expensive for coffee!! You might find one on e-bay...
