Can I download XP anywhere for free or get it any where for free?

I need it so I can run the 7.5 version of messenger...

The short answer is no. Not a legal, properly working supported xp, anyway.

if its just for accessing the messenger network, you could try something like E-buddy, it connects you to the network and you can send and recieve messages as per normal MSN messenger but it runs in a normal web page so you can use it in ME

I already have messenger, I just wanted the new version as it looks better and has more options.
