My pachira has turned spotty

Hi there I have a lovely pachira which we have had for a couple of years and has up to now been doing really well. Recently some of the leaves have been turning yellow and black spots have appeared on others. Any ideas what this could be and what I can do to help? Thanks

could well be drying out. These are marginal aquatic plants in their native habitat and do require a lot of water. Also low humidity could cause this which is oftent he case in modern houses due to central heating.
