My DVD recorder keeps rebooting itself

I have DVD recorder (Phillips DVDR5350H) with built-in Hard Drive (160GB). In the last few hours, it keeps on and off by itself. Can anybody out there help me why this happens and how to solve this problem?

Anything to do with the change of clocks? Is there a resetbutton?

Possibly a faulty sector on the hard disk. I have a Tivo and experienced this problem. Fortunately, I was able to obtain an image file of the operating system and write it to a new hard drive.
