Take it you mean the drill bit?? try using a corded sds drill and drill bit
Just a silly question- I hope you are using a masonry drill bit and not an ordinary wood or metal type! Wont get very far in concrete with on of those!
You will have to use a masonry drill bit a 24v wont do it,
Get a mains drill and switch it on hammer
a good 24 volt hammer drill will do it! Makita, hilti. not so good but sufficiant bosch will as well.
You will need a good masonry bit and a good 240v drill, if you are drilling hard stone a 24v drill wont touch it!!
If you are only drilling small holes for fasteners(80 mil/3/8 inch or less) the drill you have will work as long as you use a good quality masonry bit. Let the drill do the work;ei. don't use excesive force. If the holes must be larger or you need a lot of them you will need a corded drill designed for heavier service. We use a lot of the battery powered hammer drills on the sites I work. I find most of the better makes quite sufficient when used within their design limits.
