My PC is not running aswell as it used to when i got it. i think it may be infected with spyware/adware or something similar. can someone please tell me a good website which will scan and clean my pc for FREE? i have found literally hundreds of websites which will scan your pc and tell you whats wrong but when it comes to removing these little bugs they want money!!

Someone here must know about these sorts of things? I used to have Adaware but for somne reason it no longer runs. I have Norton Anti virus already on the pc and run it regularly.

Also my internet homepage used to be a well know auction site. when i go into tools internet options it still says this well know auction site is set as the homepage but when i click 'home' it takes me to some other rubbish about how my pc is infected and 'click here to download' blah blah etc etc.

I want to delete my windows.old folder but it says if you remove it windows or another program may not work correctly are you sure you want to permanently delete ?

Do a search for spybot, it will do the job and its free.
