My father has a brain tumour and my mother cannot work as she has to look after him. She is entitled to her sick pay from work but is she entitled to any other financial help? My father has retired so he receives his pension. Is he entitled to anything else? Thanks

It is unusual to receive sick pay from work when you are not sick yourself, so check how long she will be getting this for.
If their income is low enough, and they don't have savings over �16000, they may be entitled to Council Tax Benefit and other benefits.
