lexpps.exe is a file Lexmark printers can use to network the printer on a LAN. Delete the file if you do not need to network your Lexmark printer, otherwise the file will try to access the internet. The file is NOT needed for using the printer locally. Dave

Thank you, Dave... After first posting my question, I was able to activate the archives, finding other similar posts answered as well. Sorry to have bothered you with redundancy. *g* I tried to delete file from Windows/System, but received a delete error stating that file was in use by Windows, and not deletable. Reasonably, my next question is: how the #$(&#*$ do I get rid of this #$)@#*$ nuisance?! *grin* ty ty
