If you are named in a will, but not the executor, should you receive a copy. In another words if your father dies and names your mother the executor, while listing his children in the will too should you receive a copy?

Most solicitors will provide a copy if asked as they know you can get one anyway from the registry. you are not entitled to a copy of the estate account unless you are a residuary beneficiary, not if you are just left a specfic amount or gift
