As far as I know, the man from Brookside is the father to all of them. Jodie is the eldest daughter and sister to the two darker haired kids (one girl, one boy) who are meant to be twins and to the young girl who is the little sister. Apparently, there is an ex-wife somewhere who may come into the series at a later date!
Hope that explains things a bit!

THANK YOU 'anotheroldgit' I was trying to think where I saw the granddad before, Early Doors (use to love that, wish it would make a come back).
Also to Mammie....there is in fact SIX adults living at the Barlows, Ken, Diedre, Blanche, Peter, Adam and Tracey plus Amy. Where they all sleep in such a small house is beyond me ! As far as the new family is concerned, the eldest Jodie must have a different mother as the age gap is far too big....?
