Suitable Memory Stick?

Can anybody help? my parents have bought a Sony W35 camera, and it says that you need a Memory stick duo or pro duo to go with it. Without actually purchasing one online, I wondered would they need to buy a adaptor if they bought a memory stick pro duo as I've heard they are half the size of normal memory sticks. Its very confusing.

Both duo and pro duo are the same size, I'm fairly sure that all Sony branded ones come with the adaptor to make them up to the full size Memory Stick. The Sony memory stick that is smaller than the duo is the M2.

I am going to try & buy a sandisk memory stick, which is even more confusing, anymore advice?

I've used Sandisk and they work fine, since you don't need an adaptor it doesn't matter whether Sandisk include them or not.
