I have recently reformatted my pc after virus trouble.
I can not get the speakers to work.
I have downloaded drivers for the graphics card NVidia Ge Force 4MX440-SE but it still won't work.
Help!!!

I believe the sound card is integral with motherboard MSI 845E-MAX.
Does this make a difference

yes and no - you will still need audio drivers

first check control panelsound and audio settings just to make sure that you haven't got your sound muted

then search out the CDs that came with the machine
(you don't say what machine or O/s)
but look on the MSI site or
http://www.driverstock.com/MSI-Motherboard-dri vers/14-9/index.html
make sure the onboard sound is enabled in the bios and yes install the motherboard driver cd if you have it.
if you still have trouble with your sound get in touch with me and i will send you the programme to get your sound back i have formated lots of computers and the sound had gone but this puts it back contact me if you want at

[email protected] and i will send it to you
