Despite having that job, I've never really been a car enthusiast and, to me, one car is much the same as another. So there were very few cars which really stood out in my mind. Yes, I loved the smooth executive feel of the Audi A6 and I enjoyed driving the Jags (especially as I wasn't paying for the fuel) but my absolute favourite car was the Saab 900.
It's a wonderful car. As soon as you sit in it, it's like being in a comfy chair at home. (That's something which only some Rovers, BMWs and Audis could match). But it also had a great sense of fun to driving it. (it's incredibly responsive, both with acceleration and steering). My only problem was keeping the speed down. Somehow, speed is hardly noticeable in the Saab 900. The first time I drove one, I daren't use 5th gear. The car seemed happy to cruise at 70mph+ in 4th, with hardly a sound from the engine.
Everbody I know who's driven a Saab 900 either loves them (the majority) or loathes them (the minority). Take the car for a test drive. You'll know within minutes whether it's the car for you.
