when buying a turntable, dont choose based on price, looks or make, its best to go around to a good music shop like richer sounds and ask a member of staff.if not then go on the what hi-fi? magazine website and send an e-mail.
Hi

i dont think you can ever guarantee that. However if you can find one a linear deck will have the least resistance whilst playing, as vinyl are mastered this way. Bang & Oulfsen did one in their 5000 & 6000 range Mitsibushi did one some 20years ago.

If thats not viable, get a cartridge with an eliptical tip Ortofon do them,

Other than that, you might try WET playing, sounds weird but works, i do have to point out, that this should be done just the once to get the best recording possible, if you dont know what it is DONT TRY IT find out or ask an audio engineer or research thoroughly first.

Other than that dont know!
