Welcome to Title Builder Beta.

This small piece of kit is designed to make building your Quiz, Crossword or Puzzle question more effective. It should make finding your question easier for others and, the easier it is to find, the more likely someone is to answer it!

To build an easy to find question title simply select the paper and quiz, enter the quiz number if relevant and fill in the Publication Date. Once you’re happy click “Build Title” and the information should populate the Title field. Fill in the final required details of your question as you normally would, and click submit.

As this is a Beta we only have a limited number of papers and quizzes listed. If you think your favourite Quiz, Crossword or Puzzle should be listed here don’t hesitate to contact us.

Remember: You do not have to use the title builder - simply enter the title and question as you normally would and click submit!

having trouble with 5A Touch of antagonism has affected me to feel humiliated (6) which could be ashame - but for the 5th letter i've got L to make two other four letter words fit together to make an eight letter word in line with the theme. i think the word is ?S?AL? or have i gone wrong. gtfl ideas. tks.

The answer is ashame : a + anag. has + me.

I've already sent off this one so I'm afraid that I cannot remember the words, but there are no unusual ones (and the word you have printed has only got 6 letters). Sorry that I can't be of further assistance pjw.

I have also sent mine off and when I went back onto the site to look at the puzzle and refresh my memory the crossword had been replaced by the current one.

If I remember right, I think 8d is MINA, which goes with NOTE to form NOMINATE
