I nearly got killed by a ****** the other day. You'd think that the possibility of a fine of potentially as much as �30 would discourage van drivers from overtaking on a blind bend in a narrow road where they can't see oncoming cyclists, but apparently not.

bad luck is all around me at moment. Last week my partners best friend died and was buried, then the house next door had a small fire and we had to rescue the occupiers, then my car broke down 150 miles from home, then eventually arrived home and found the house the other side of one with small fire was ablaze.
My house stinks of smoke and the attic is full of soot, ruining baby stuff and my car is broken but we are much better off than the others.
